2011 NFL Draft: Phil Taylor Becomes the Next New York Jets Nose Tackle

Phil Taylor is the best pure nose tackle in the draft, and for him to still be on the board when the New York Jets come on the clock is a gift. 
The Jets recently released Kris Jenkins and will need a new nose tackle before the start of next season.  Phil Taylor can come in and start immediately, and plays with the type of attitude that Rex Ryan will appreciate.
While the Jets could look to add a receiver in case Santonio Holmes or Braylon Edwards do not return, they should take the safe pick in Phil Taylor.
