2011 NFL Draft: Philadelphia Eagles’ Prospect, Colorado Corner Jimmy Smith

There's no denying that the Eagles saw their fair share of poor play from the corner position in 2010. This is one of the big reasons just about every Eagles fan wanted to see the team pursue free agent Nnamdi Asomugha this offseason.

The expired Collective Bargaining Agreement prevents the Eagles from doing so at the moment, so the team will have to decide whether or not they feel there's a corner in the first round they'd like to go after. One possibility could be Colorado corner Jimmy Smith.

The immediate thing that sticks out to me about Smith is his size. He stands at 6'2'', 210 pounds, providing the type of size we typically don't see out the Eagles' corners. On their current roster, Trevard Lindley is the biggest player they have at 6'0'', 185 pounds.
