If you were taking bets on who would emerge the top pick in the 2011 NFL Draft was, Da'Quan Bowers might have won in a landslide two months ago.
But Blaine Gabbert's great pro day, the ever-growing buzz over Cam Newton, and Marcell Dareus' impressive combine, have shaken everything up. Each of those studs are likely to don the cap and hold up a Panthers jersey next to awkwardly smiling Roger Goodell next month.
Naturally their rise will cause Bowers to fall a few spots. But it's Bowers future that has people buzzing now.
According to reports like Peter King's Monday SI.com post, Bowers knee has emerged as a major concern to teams.
