Brandon Marshall Had Surgery—Seattle Seahawks Decision Now Makes Sense

This juicy little piece of news would have been all the more useful in explaining to Seahawks fans why they refused to cough up anything more then a second round pick for the dynamic receiver.
Brandon Marshall had hip surgery that will keep him out until training camp, according to John Clayton. Apparently, the Dolphins were not aware of this injury at the time of their trade with the Denver Broncos.
This surgery comes after he had a procedure done in 2009 on his other hip, an injury that had been nagging him for over a year.
Being a king of accident/injury proneness myself, his hip issues are falling into the realm of “chronic” injury, and it’s all making sense now why the Seahawks didn’t budge from the bounty they were willing to pay.
He did produce 1,120 yards, and 10 TDs after having the procedure done once, proving he can still put up top numbers.
