Brett Favre Shocker: On Plane to Minnesota, Likely Back with Vikings

Exactly one year ago to the day, August 17th, Brad Childress introduced Brett Favre to the practice field to begin his work with the Minnesota Vikings. Favre would go on to lead the team to the NFC Championship game before ending the season on an interception and a loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints.
After another summer and offseason, Brett Favre has decided, according to all reports, to come back to the Vikings on August 17 of this year.
Jay Glazer of Fox reported that Favre told some of his Viking confidants that he is “back in.” While I think it’s ridiculous that Favre needed to be persuaded into coming back with a team that may be the most talented in the NFC, I guess his ego needed to be stroked a little more.
So, as we wait unanxiously for his plane to land and gush reluctantly that his addition makes the Vikings one of the favorites in the NFC to reach the Super Bowl, we have once again played into Favre’...
