Brett Favre: Vegas Odds Shift for More Than One Team with Retirement

Sources indicated today that Brett Favre will not be a member of the Minnesota Vikings this year, and that sent oddsmakers scrambling to adjust the odds on the Vikings as well as other teams.
The Vikings were listed as one of the front runners to win the NFC and the Super Bowl, but those odds have changed.
BetMania.com and other sportsbooks had the Vikings listed at 6-1 to win the Super Bowl, and now they are listed at 20-1.
They are listed at 2.8 to 1 to win the NFC North and 10-1 to win the NFC , both an increase to what they were before today.
The speculation is that once it is confirmed that Favre is out, the odds could go even higher. Some sportsbooks speculate the Vikings could go as high as 25-1 to win the Super Bowl if they start the season without Favre.
Favre announced last year about this same time that he would not be playing for the Vikings, and a few weeks later, he suited up and had one of the best years in his career. If he does that again,...
