Daily Haze: Justin Forsett’s Fantasy Value is Trending Upward Again

Buried in the news yesterday among all the World Cup and LeBron James hoopla was a story from the weekend about how much Seattle head coach Pete Carroll likes running back Justin Forsett .
Seemed like a pretty harmless story at first glance.
But then I got to thinking about it, remembering how well Forsett played last season despite how anemic Seattle's offense had become. Julius Jones never produced those kinds of numbers in Seattle. Forsett also bests Jones in the pass-catching and playmaking categories.
When the offseason started, Forsett's fantasy value looked grim. The team traded for Leon Washington, then signed LenDale White. However, things have improved for Forsett in recent weeks, culminating in this little story about Carroll's affection for the runner.
