Dallas Cowboys: Tony Romo Should Not Have to Compete with Jon Kitna for Job

Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett believes Tony Romo should compete for his job to earn the right to be named the starting quarterback.
Bennett praised Jon Kitna's performance after Romo's season ending shoulder injury.  
According to ESPN.com, Bennett proclaimed, "I hope there's a chance for a quarterback competition this year. He made some things happen in limited time, so I think if he got a longer chance, he'd be able to do more."
Should there even be a debate as to who should be the starting quarterback for America's team? And a better question is: Where does Bennett, a second-string tight end who has not lived up to his potential, have the nerve to question if Romo should be the quarterback?
Jon Kitna has shown flashes of greatness, but there is a reason why he has never thrived as a starting quarterback in previous destinations.
Kitna does not have great field awareness, and he is an interception machine.
