Denver Broncos’ Mock Draft and Big Board: Updated Day 3 Predictions

April 30, 2016   ·     ·   Jump to comments

The Denver Broncos have begun the 2016 NFL draft by filling their biggest needs, but they still have a long way to go in order to complete a successful draft.
After moving up in the first round to select their quarterback of the future in Paxton Lynch, Denver went with defense in its next two picks. The squad drafted high-upside defensive lineman Adam Gotsis out of Georgia Tech in Round 2 before adding depth at safety with the selection of Boston College's Justin Simmons.
This is an organization that has targeted the best player available in recent years, but there is no denying coming into the draft that quarterback, defensive end and safety were three of the top needs. However, there are still a few holes the team must fill on Day 3 and there are six more picks to do it.
Here is a look at projections for the final four rounds along with an updated big board from Denver's perspective.
