Dwayne Bowe: Re-Signing Top Receiver Should Be Chiefs’ No. 1 Priority

Dwayne Bowe was the only positive from the Kansas City Chiefs' passing game in 2012; bringing him back should be a no-brainer.
The team had the worst passing offense in the NFL last season, but most of that was due to ineptitude at the quarterback position.
With Andy Reid taking over as head coach, and the team armed with the top pick in the draft, the Chiefs are in position to bring in a franchise quarterback.
It would be a shame to lose their only better-than-average receiver before they hand the keys to the offense to a new quarterback. Bowe missed three games and was distracted by his contract situation throughout the season.
He still managed to haul in 59 passes for 801 yards and three touchdowns. That may not sound like a stellar season, but when you consider he had Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel throwing to him all year, it's understandable.
Bowe is only 28 years old, and he's been durable throughout his career. He's only missed eight games in six seasons. ...
