Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Magic: Week 5 Waiver Pickups

The waiver wire in most leagues is beginning to look like a sandwich platter that was dropped off at your local correctional facility a week ago—lots of crumbs but nothing to really sink your teeth into.
With four teams on byes, few injuries to report, and fewer surprise performances, this week’s waiver wire is the thinnest it has been all year.
 
RB Michael Bush, Raiders
Hey, maybe you got lucky and Bush’s owner dropped him last week after he got a measly three carries in his first game back after suffering a thumb injury in the preseason. Bush had the starting job lined up before the injury but lost it due to Darren McFadden’s solid production to start the season.
However, McFadden’s injury history is well known, and sure enough and right on cue, McFadden suffered a hamstring injury this week during the Raiders' loss to the Texans. If he’s out, Bush will get an opportunity to reclaim his starting position this week aga...
