Logan Thomas Signed by Giants, B.J. Daniels Waived: Details, Comments, Reaction

The New York Giants picked up dual-threat quarterback Logan Thomas off waivers Friday, cutting quarterback B.J. Daniels as a result. 
NJ.com's Jordan Raanan was among the first to report the news. Thomas, a former Arizona Cardinal, was recently released by the Miami Dolphins. Daniels has previously been with the Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks since joining the league in 2013.
Miami claimed Thomas off waivers from Arizona in September and signed him to the practice squad. The Dolphins then elevated him to the active roster in December, but he apparently did not impress during his short stint with the team. According to Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald, his practice last week was the final straw:
