New York Giants: Big Blue Signs Ryan Torain After Andre Brown Injury

Andre Brown was having a fine season for the New York Giants in 2012.
He was leading the team with eight rushing touchdowns and also had 385 yards with it, but his breakout season ended on Sunday night.
Brown suffered a broken fibula in Sunday night's game against the Green Bay Packers, an injury that has ended Brown's 2012 campaign.
So to take his spot, the team has signed former Washington Redskins running back Ryan Torain, according to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger via Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports.

In 2011, Torain only played in eight games, but he had 200 yards rushing with one touchdown on 59 carries.
In 2010, Torain had 742 yards with four touchdowns in 10 games with the Redskins.
They also signed former Buccaneers running back Kregg Lumpkin as well for depth.
