New York Giants Reportedly Sign TE Brandon Myers

The New York Giants didn't wait too long to replace tight end Martellus Bennett in their lineup.
That's the latest from Mike Garafolo of USA Today, who is reporting on Twitter that the Giants have a deal in place to sign former Oakland Raiders tight end Brandon Myers to a contract on Saturday evening.
Here's Garafolo's tweet:
The terms of the contract have not yet been released.
Myers, the four-year pro who played his college football at Iowa before being drafted by the Raiders in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL draft, had a breakout season for Oakland last season after becoming the full-time starter during the previous offseason.
He finished the year with 15 starts, 79 receptions, 806 yards and four touchdowns, becoming one of Carson Palmer's most reliable targets while setting himself up for a key place in the tight end class of 2013 free agency.
