New York Jets Fan Buys Custom Marcus Mariota Jersey Before 2015 NFL Draft

April 28, 2015   ·     ·   Jump to comments

There's no question who Syracuse student Patrick Johnston wants his New York Jets to select in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft.
Many believe the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with the top pick. If that happens, everyone will be curious to see where former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota winds up.
The Jets currently hold the No. 6 pick in the draft. Who knows if Mariota will still be on the board at that point, so if the Jets want the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner, they may have to trade up to get him.
Johnston doesn't care how the Jets get Mariota. He just wants the former Ducks star to be a Jet—because he already has a Mariota jersey.
Come Thursday, Johnston will find out whether that jersey was a good buy.
