NFL Draft 2011: Jim Harbaugh, San Fran 49ers Receive Most Encouraging Fine Ever?

Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers are believed to have been fine for illegal contact with players a month before the 2011 NFL Draft.
While players under contract were permitted to use team facilities last month, league rules prohibited those players from engaging in any kind of formal meetings, practices or workouts.
From Matthew Barrows at The Sacramento Bee:
“During the downtime period this year, coach Jim Harbaugh reportedly had on-field throwing sessions with quarterback Alex Smith, who was still under contract at the time.
Asked by CSNBayArea.com in February whether the sessions were used to work on Smith's fundamentals and mechanics or whether it was just a way to break the ice, Harbaugh answered, ‘Both.’
In addition, tight end Vernon Davis in February tweeted about watching film and working on his playbook ‘with my coach.’"
