NFL Draft 2011 Kentucky’s Randall Cobb Should Be a Player of Bill Belichick’s Interest
In February, when I posted my three-round NFL mock draft, I projected Kentucky’s all-purpose wide receiver Randall Cobb into New England’s No. 74 slot.
His name is once again being brought to the forefront as he could be in contact with Bill Belichick and the Patriots heading into the draft, according to Erik Scalavino of Patriots Football Weekly.
I stick by the selection for the Patriots as Cobb is the type of player Belichick adores. He will offer supreme versatility for New England and with Tom Brady leading the charge, will excel as a rookie.
Unfortunately for Belichick, it looks like the secret is out on Cobb. He is gaining a lot of steam heading into the draft and that he could be long gone by the No. 74 pick I projected on February 15.
