NFL’s First Half Awards

With the halfway mark of the 2010 NFL season upon us, one thing is certain: “That’s why they play the game.”
More and more those preseason predictions that looked genius in August now look really bad two months into the season. A whopping six of the eight division winners from a season ago are either in third or fourth place.
Parity has once again proven that the National Football League is a year-to-year sport where any team has a shot. With that said, here are a few first half awards:
Most Surprising Team—Kansas City Chiefs
Starting from the opening night win over San Diego on a national stage, enough cannot be said about the job Todd Haley has done in year two.
