Packers Want Brett Favre Back In Green Bay

As if Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hasn't heard enough about Brett Favre during his six-year National Football League career, he has to deal with the living legend again during the biggest week of his professional football life, leading up to Sunday's Super Bowl XLV against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At what seemed like the best time to use the phrase "no comment," Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy said he'd like to see Favre "back in the fold" and would welcome him at the appropriate time.
Speaking of appropriate times, that comment should have been saved for next month. Or whenever—any time other than this week.
I'm guessing Favre will eventually come to his senses and officially retire as a Green Bay Packer.
That's where he spent the majority of his storied NFL career. And those were the years that will ultimately stamp his ticket into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But this wasn't the week for anyone from the Packers to be talking about ...
