Pat Devlin to Browns: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Cleveland Browns announced Thursday that they reached an agreement to sign quarterback Pat Devlin to provide depth behind Josh McCown with injuries mounting at the position.
Devlin, 27, joins Thad Lewis as the only healthy backups available with two preseason games left. Johnny Manziel is expected to miss at least the clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week due to an elbow injury, and Connor Shaw is out after thumb surgery.
The team's newest addition has never appeared in a regular-season game after going undrafted in 2011. He's spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and, most recently, the Chicago Bears but never got a chance to play.
Devlin started his college career at Penn State but decided to leave for Delaware after three years, including a redshirt season, to receive more playing time. He tossed 37 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions over two seasons as the Fightin' Blue Hens' starter.
