Philip Rivers Had a Horrible Season… Say What?

Everywhere you hear it.  From newscasters to NFL Network analysts, hell, even players, they are all saying the same damn thing: Philip Rivers had a horrible season.  Let's take a look at that horrible season.
Philip Rivers passed for 4,624 yards, 27 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.  Let's add some other stats here.  Rivers' averaged 7.9 yards per pass, completed 62.9 percent of his passes, was sacked 30 times and had five fumble losses
Now let's look at the rankings.  Philip Rivers ranked sixth in passing yards, eighth in TD passes third in interceptions, eighth in yards per pass, seventh in passing percentage and 16th in sacks taken.
The only glaring statistic for Rivers is the interception total. This was the first season in eight years that Rivers threw more than 15 picks.
