San Diego Chargers NFL Week 3: Malcom Floyd and Others Injured

Aside from Antonio Gates, the San Diego Chargers may be without the services of wide receiver Malcom Floyd, defensive end Corey Liuget and safety Bob Sanders.
All three did not participate on Friday and are listed as “doubtful” to play against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday.
If any of these players need a bit of a rest to heal up, now is the perfect time for Norv Turner to leave them out of the lineup.
The Chargers will not have an easier game on the schedule this year and they would be foolish to risk any player who is not 100 percent fit.
Luis Castillo is already out, so if Liuget can’t go, the Chargers will be down two starting defensive ends.
The absence of Floyd may hurt as well but will allow Patrick Crayton to see action for the first time this season. Crayton is coming off an ankle injury himself and just might be a great addition to fantasy football rosters.
