Stay Retired, Coach Bill Cowher

Here's to hoping that Coach Cowher remains retired as a NFL head coach.
Don't get me wrong here...I have no desire to tread on a good man's prerogatives or drizzle upon any fan's Cheerios. Bill Cowher certainly deserves another shot at coaching an NFL team. And his return to the sidelines would be warmly welcomed by myself and virtually every other fan of this gentle giant of a human being and of the NFL.
My hope of Cowher's continuation of retirement from the sidelines rests solely in my passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers and their history. Coach Cowher is, in my opinion, a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame. His passion for the game and his sideline antics are the stuff of legend.
We all can say with no uncertainty that Bill Cowher's span of coaching with the Pittsburgh Steelers was critical to the continuation of our collective passion for the Black n' Gold.
