Thomas Rawls Injury: Updates on Seahawks RB’s Shin and Return

Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls is currently battling a shin injury. It's unclear when he'll return to the field.

Rawls Out vs. 49ers Sunday, Sept. 25 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Rawls won't play Sunday against San Francisco. 
Injury-Prone Rawls Hopeful to Build on Promising Rookie Campaign  Rawls, an undrafted free agent signing out of Central Michigan last year, enjoyed a strong rookie campaign that saw him average 5.6 yards per carry for the Seahawks. It gave the team confidence the running game was in reliable hands following Marshawn Lynch's retirement.
But things have not started well for Rawls in 2016. He has 25 rushing yards on 19 carries through two games, including minus-seven yards in last week's loss against the Los Angeles Rams. 
The 23-year-old rising star has also dealt with some injury issues.
