New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will have to wait until the end of June to officially appeal his four-game suspension following the Deflategate scandal.

Brady's Appeal to Be Heard June 23 Friday, May 29 According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Brady's appeal hearing will take place June 23.
Once the NFL levied its punishment against the four-time Super Bowl champion, his filing of an appeal was only a matter of time. Turner Sports' Rachel Nichols provided the statement from the NFL Players Association regarding its desire to challenge the suspension:
The collective bargaining agreement stipulates that a date be set for a player's appeal hearing within 10 days of the appeal's filing. Obviously, that didn't happen in this case, but it was a mutual decision between Brady and the league, according to ESPN.com.
