UFL Rumors: Ex-NFL Coaches Jerry Glanville, Marty Schottenheimer Signing On

The Hartford Colonials have signed former NFL player/coach Jerry Glanville as their head coach and general manager.
Glanville had a 63–73 record as a head coach in the NFL and brings decades of professional football experience to the Hartford franchise. The Colonials were tied for the worst record in the league last year led by Chris Palmer, and Glanville hopes to find new talent to change that.
“I am already fired up by the excitement of coaching new players in a new city.  There will be little or no sleep as we evaluate players, prepare for open tryouts and install our game plan.  I am putting together a new coaching staff in my mind.  The key will be that they are teachers that can get along and be able to hunt down players.  Everything is about to change,” Glanville said onUFL-football.com.
