"Should I Stay or Should I Go" is a song by the English punk rock band The Clash, from their album Combat Rock. It was written in 1981 and featured Mick Jones on lead vocals. It became the band's only No. 1 single (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
The lyrics of that song were:   "Darling you gotta let me know. Should I stay or should I go? If you say that you are mine, I'll be here till the end of time. So you gotta let me know. Should I stay or should I go?"
It has been almost six long years since that fateful day in 2005 when Alex Smith was drafted number one overall in the NFL Draft.  At times he has been loved, at other times hated and some times, just plain felt sorry for (if one can even feel sorry for a multimillionaire quarterback in the NFL).  He has been introduced to more new head coaches, offensive coordinators and offensive schemes than probably any other quarterback in the NFL these past several seasons.
