New York Giants: The Giant Collapse Ending the Giants Season

The New York Giants had the world in their hands. Heading into Week 15 against their arch rivals the Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants were 9-6, and a win would allow them to take control of the division, and their playoff destiny.  Unfortunately, the Giants collapsed in the 4th quarter, relinquishing a 31-10 lead with 8 minutes left, losing control of the division, and their destiny.
There was still hope, however, because a win against the Packers in Week 16 would put the Giants in the driver's seat for the last remaining Wild Card spot. Once again, the Giants faltered, losing 45-16.
Even though they beat the Redskins this week, the Packers defeated the Bears, putting them in the playoffs while the Giants were sent packing.
The only people the Giants have to blame for this is themselves; if they had defeated the Eagles, which they should have easily done with the big lead they had, they wouldn't have had to worry about the Pack...
