Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly: Vick and Foles Even on Depth Chart

The day Chip Kelly was hired as Philadelphia Eagles head coach, he proclaimed the team's starting quarterback job would be an open competition.
After one practice, that story hasn't changed. 
"It's even," Kelly told a throng of reporters, Tuesday, following his first NFL practice. "They both took reps with the ones. The depth chart really is more of a seating chart right now."
In the team's first practice, Kelly emphasized that it wasn't important whether a player took reps with the first team or the second; rather, just getting time on the field is more important, both for evaluating personnel and getting film on tape to learn from.
Still, the fact that Michael Vick took the initial set of practice reps and then was evenly split with Nick Foles shows that the first-year head coach is undecided on who will start under center in September.
