Officials Investigating Fire at Home of Johnny Manziel’s Grandfather

Fire officials in Smith County, Texas, are reportedly investigating a suspicious fire at the home of the grandfather of Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.  
Alex Osiadacz and Lane Luckie of KLTV reported a house owned by Paul Manziel caught fire around 1:30 a.m. CT Wednesday morning. Nobody was home at the time of the incident, and no injuries have been reported. Authorities called in K-9 units to help discover further details.
Officials told KLTV the structure ended up collapsing about 30 minutes after the fire started and stated no one had been at the residence for at least two days prior to the incident.
Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine said, per Mary Kay Cabot of the Northeast Ohio Media Group, that he'd talk to the quarterback about the fire, noting that Manziel seems to be in "good spirits."
Manziel was born in Tyler, Texas, and he went on to star at Texas A&M at the collegiate level.
