Patrick Crayton Wants Out Soon As Possible: Why Is That The Right Choice?

Patrick Crayton announced on Friday, May 28 ,the team is "messing with people's careers and people's lives" and that he wants to be released immediately.
That seems pretty reasonable after Dallas drafted WR Dez Bryant, making Crayton No. 4 in that position's depth chart.
Since then, rumors around the web have been speculating a trade with teams such as the Cleveland Browns.
But as Crayton himself stated, the team just wants him as an insurance if Bryant, Miles Austin, or Roy Williams suffer an injury.
While it may be very reasonable to keep him on an uncapped year, they are better off without him and Patrick Crayton is better off without them.

If he stays the whole season:
If Patrick stays with the team, he wont have a lot of playing time and his stats will decrease so much that his value will decrease as well.
That affects both Patrick Crayton and the Dallas Cowboys.
