Celebrity Beach Bowl: An Embarrassment To Football

The Celebrity Beach Bowl is the worst example of football since Ryan Leaf.
I’ll be the first to admit that I lost myself in Super Bowl week mania. I found myself immersed in otherwise trivial concepts such as the Packers’ punter, Brett Keisel’s beard and people’s bets on how long Christina Aguilera’s national anthem would last (“I would’ve won if she remembered the freaking words!”)
However, despite all of this nonsense, nothing would compare to the 90 minutes that I wasted watching the Celebrity Beach Bowl.
In my first article, I wrote how the Super Bowl “could make 106,000,000 people sit down and watch teams of millionaires attempt to murder each other for 60 minutes.”
In that sense, the Celebrity Beach Bowl is the RC Cola to the Super Bowl’s Coca-Cola.
Same idea, terrible results.
