Why the San Diego Chargers Should Sign Terrell Owens Immediately

The Chargers really need to give Terrell Owens a call.
Their depth at the receiver position—which wasn't very strong before they opened training camp—has been ravished by misfortune after misfortune.
At this point, they may sport the weakest receiving corps in the NFL.
Eddie Royal was recently hospitalized following a serious injury. Malcolm Floyd injured his knee—his return date is still unknown. Robert Meachem's body is reportedly 'broken down'. Danario Alexander tore his ACL and will miss the entire 2013 season. For a team that failed last year to provide Philip Rivers with the weapons needed to compete in Peyton Manning's AFC West, the Chargers are looking even weaker as the preseason continues to roll along.
The Broncos added Wes Welker to compliment Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. That's three 1,000-yard receivers on one team.
Who are the Chargers expecting Rivers to throw to?
