Tim Tebow Likely a Bust, Whether With the Minnesota Vikings or Not

Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress was in Gainesville this weekend, with his quarterbacks coach Kevin Rogers.  Among other appointments, Childress had a private workout scheduled with former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow.
 
The Vikings are considering drafting Tebow in the upcoming 2010 NFL Draft.  Rick Spielman, the Vikings vice president of player personnel, attended Florida's Pro Day workout in March. 
 
Childress thinks highly of Tebow.  The competing interest of the Patriots can only enhance that interest.  Remember, Childress said he drafted former Gator, and current Viking Percy Harvin, in the first round last year largely due to his fear the Patriots would grab him.
 
Childress says: “I got a chance to talk to (Tebow) a little bit in Indianapolis (at the February scouting combine).  I have a lot of coaching friends around here that I talk to and I got a chance to watch him darn...
