Breakdown of Ben Roethlisberger’s “Apology”

Okay first things first, Ben, dye your hair black and you're Steven Seagal.
Alright, the first thing that catches my eye is that the man speaks for less than 90 seconds, and yet the entire apology is written on a note card. If he wrote it, how hard is it to remember 90 seconds worth of words? The reality is that he probably didn't write it, I'm sure that "heartfelt" apology was constructed by his lawyers and representatives.
One thing that really bothered me is that when Ben says the words:
"I absolutely want to be the leader this team deserves, valued in the community, and a role model to kids. I have much work to do to earn this trust, and I am committed to proving and showing everyone my true values."
As I was saying, my problem is that he is looking down almost the entire time. You would think that if he really desires and intends to do those things, he would be able to look people in the eye, and tell...
