Despite lacking depth at running back heading into the regular season, the Buffalo Bills are exploring trade options for Bryce Brown.

Bills Reportedly Discussing Brown Trade Saturday, Sept. 5According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, while no potential partners are listed, Brown's name has come up in trade discussions for the Bills. 
The Bills acquired Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles for a fourth-round pick last year. The 24-year-old played sparingly in Buffalo, recording 126 rushing yards and 176 receiving yards in seven games (two starts). 
However, he would seem to be more valuable to the Bills offense now more than ever before. LeSean McCoy has been dealing with a strained hamstring since mid-August, though Bills head coach Rex Ryan is hopeful his starter can play Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts.
