NFL Power Rankings 2016: AFC, NFC Records, Division Standings and Week 8 Outlook

It's been an unpredictable 2016-2017 season, to say the least. From the New England Patriots going 6-1 despite not having the services of Tom Brady for four games to last year's Super Bowl runners-up, the Carolina Panthers, starting out the season at 1-5, there is no telling what could happen as we enter some crucial divisional matchups this week.
But first, let's take a look at the power rankings heading into Week 8. While there will be many questioning how the Houston Texans, who own sole possession of first place in the AFC South, rank 28th in the power rankings, the answer is this simple: The Texans aren't a good football team and Brock Osweiler is not the answer to the franchise's prayers at the quarterback position. 
The truth hurts, but this is the reality we live in.
