As reported by KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh and reported on profootballtalk.com , the Pittsburgh Steelers have reached an agreement with Casey Hampton on a three year contract extension.
The deal is reportedly for three years, $21 million, with $11 million guaranteed.
With the deal signed, that prevents the Steelers from having to use the franchise tag on "Big Snack," and will be able to use their to tags on Kicker Jeff Reed and Safety Ryan Clark.
This will mean that all of the main players from last year will be under contract heading into the 2010 season.
