San Diego Breathes Sigh of Relief: Chargers Say No To T.O.

Everyone's thinking it, and now I'm saying it.
When word came out from the San Diego Union Tribune yesterday that the Chargers will not consider bringing in Terrell Owens, I (along with I'm sure most of San Diego) breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Don't get me wrong, this has nothing to do with Terrell Owens as a player. He still has the ability to intimidate defenses, despite his age. I also understand the situation that the Chargers find themselves in. Without Vincent Jackson, San Diego could very well miss out on another Super Bowl shot in 2010.
However, T.O is not the answer. And he never will be. Not just for San Diego, but for anyone.
You see, back in his prime, a lot of people were willing to look past his massive ego, because they could tell that he was a potential future Hall of Fame wide receiver. Despite his lack of commitment to any one team, T.O. had a valuable set of skills and was an asset to all the teams he played for.
