2010 NFL Draft: Top Centers

With the 2010 NFL Draft less than one week away, I will be highlighting the top players at each position in this year's class.

These are my center prospects available in the 2010 NFL Draft.


1. Maurkice Pouncey, Florida

A three-year starter for the Gators where he played with his brother Mike, Maurkice Pouncey was a first-team All-SEC, first-team All-American, and won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's best center in 2009.

A strong, terrific athlete with tons of experience at a top program, Pouncey is easily this year's top center prospect while also profiling as one of the best guards. He should crack this year's first round and could go as high as No. 19 to Atlanta.

2. Matt Tennant, Boston College

Tennant capped off his collegiate career in which he was a three-year starter for the Eagles with second-team All-ACC honors as a senior in 2009.
