2011 NFL Draft: Could Denver Broncos Add a Once in a Lifetime Corner?

2011 NFL Draft should be the perfect opportunity for the Broncos to get a player that will be the "cornerstone" of their defense. Literally.

Last season was not exactly what the Broncos had in mind for their season.

They finished last in the conference and had lost all cohesion that was being built in previous seasons under Josh McDaniels. Now, Denver has a new man in charge in John Elway and coach John Fox making the decisions.

The Broncos defense was atrocious last season finishing dead last out of the 32 teams in yards per game given up.

Some have said the Broncos should be looking at Blaine Gabbert or Cam Newton would be superior fits at quarterback to Tim Tebow or Kyle Orton.

But, among NFL experts and my humble opinion, defense is where the conversation with that 2nd overall pick should start and end.

Matt Williamson of Scouts Inc. feels the Broncos are most definitely going towards the defensive side of the ball.
