2011 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Need to Take OT Gabe Carimi

In the 2011 NFL Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select University of Wisconsin offensive tackle Gabe Carimi with the No. 23 pick in the first round.
The Eagles have one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the history of the game in Michael Vick. My personal feelings aside, Vick can scramble - and run - with the best of them. Ever. Period.
But the team cannot afford to just figure that they can get by with the offensive linemen that they have, just because Vick has the ability to scramble out of the pocket and pick up a first down. That kind of thinking will wind up coming back to haunt them, and it could get Vick destroyed in the pocket. That would not be good for Philadelphia.
Although it would make me a little giddy.
All joking aside, the Eagles do need to upgrade their offensive line. Jason Peters has had his fair share of run-ins off of the gridiron, and they have also battled more than a handful of injuries in recent years. Due to that, they need to addres...
