2012 NFL Free Agents: High Priced Free Agents Who Will Be Worth Every Penny

It all comes down to money. When a player is not worth his asking price, teams drop him. Why not? If he is not worth such a large price, then why bother? However, there are always exceptions to this high priced bargain. Let’s look at three players who are worth every penny.
 
Stevie Johnson
Stevie Johnson is a great wide receiver. Nobody doubts that. Then why are there rumors that the Bills’ will drop him? Oh, it’s because he has a price tag of $9.4 million. Johnson has already made it clear that he wants to come back to the Bills. The problem is they cannot afford Johnson’s bill.
If the Bills turn him down, Johnson may have to lower his asking price. At that point, any team would be lucky enough to sweep him up. Even if he does not lower his price tag, he may still be worth it. Just in the last two seasons, Johnson had 158 catches.
