49ers’ 2010 Schedule Analysis

The San Francisco 49ers, don't you just love the way that sounds? 49ers, a team with arguably the best history of any team in the NFL; five Super Bowl titles, two legendary QBs in Joe Montana & Steve Young, the best receiver to ever play the game in Jerry Rice, and a legendary coach in Bill Walsh.
With all that history, there has to be some disappointing times. Unfortunately, those times have been over the past seven years. Since 2003, the 49ers have not lived up to the lofty expectations set forth by 49er nation. 
In the middle of the 2008 season, Mike Nolan was fired and Mike Singletary was given an interim position to lead the team. As he posted a winning record in his time as an interim, Singletary had many question marks surrounding his coaching style.
