A Decent Proposal: A Five-City NFL Super Bowl Rotation

The announcement that Super Bowl XLVIII will be held at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey gives outdoor cold weather venues their first taste of the pinnacle of gridiron glory. Although the event is not until 2014, it's probably safe to say global warming will not make New York in February any more enjoyable. The glitz and glamour that the Big Apple brings to the table may very well outweigh the negative effects of frost bite for one year, but I think after the NFL gets this frigid experiment out of its' system, it will be time to implement a set-in-stone warm weather BCS-like Super Bowl rotation. Because in the end, who really prefers Broadway over sipping margaritas in the sun?
