NFC East NFC West NFC South NFC North The plot has thickened tremendously in the AFC East, where the upstart New York Jets took fans and teams by surprise in the playoffs, while the Patriots seem to be on the downturn in most people's opinion. The Dolphins refuse to let people forget about them, as they have made several loud moves this offseason to bolster the guns in their holsters, trading two second-round picks for Brandon Marshall and signing Karlos Dansby in free agency. Coach Tony Sporano has given the team a tough identity of running the ball and attacking on defense. The same can be said about Rex Ryan, who came into the head coaching world last year with his gums flapping and never looked back. Still, aside from a few press room blunders, he’s backed up everything his mouth has put out there.
