Alan Branch Wins Suspension Appeal: Latest Details and Reaction

New England Patriots defensive lineman Alan Branch has reportedly won his appeal of a pending four-game NFL suspension.
Field Yates of ESPN.com first reported the news Saturday, which means the defensive tackle is available to play in the team's Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Mike Petraglia of WEEI confirmed the report.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the NFL rescinded the suspension before Branch's formal appeal.
Nick Shook of NFL.com noted Branch was notified of the possible ban Nov. 21 for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy.
Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald passed along comments from the defender, who stated he didn't know how he could have failed a drug test.
"That's why I'm appealing it," Branch said. "We'll see what happens from there."
