Foster's Days in Houston Could Be Numbered Wednesday, Jan. 13 The injury-plagued Foster has anything but a secure future with the Texans. He's missed 25 games over the past three seasons, including 12 due to two separate injuries in 2015. 
Foster has provided a cap hit of over $8 million in each of his last four seasons and will provide an $8.925 million hit in 2016, the last year of his five-year, $43.5 million deal, per Spotrac.
It's a hefty price for a Texans team that is simply not getting enough time out of him.  
“Well, we’ll have to see how healthy [Foster] is,” team owner Bob McNair said Wednesday, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. “But until we know that, there’s really not much you can think about.”
