Arian Foster’s Benching a Non-Factor; Texans Defeat Raiders 31-24

The Houston Texans got back on the winning track on Sunday with a decisive win against the Oakland Raiders.
Don’t let that score fool you, though; it made the game sound like it was closer than it really was. 
During the opening offensive drive, I was waiting to see what Arian Foster would do against this defense. When Derrik Ward emerged as the starter, I wondered to myself, did this guy (Foster) trip on his kid’s toy, and now he is out?
In what was explained after the game, a “coach's decision” was made, and on Monday, Kubiak explained his reasoning for the benching of Foster. Foster evidently missed a meeting and was late for another. In turn, his actions triggered the discipline he received from Kubiak.
The Texans held Foster out of the starting line up until midway in the second quarter.
