Arizona Cardinals Should Bench Left Tackle Levi Brown

It's time for the Arizona Cardinals to move on. It's time for the organization to bench left tackle Levi Brown.
More than bringing in competition for kicker Jay Feely, demoting a player like Brown would send a message to the entire organization and the fanbase that the Cardinals have higher expectations—even if we're only one game into the new season.
New head coach Bruce Arians and general manager Steve Keim have been almost note-perfect since taking over their respective roles with the Cards earlier this year. How they handle Brown will go a long way toward indicating how both men view this season.
The Cardinals finally have a legitimate quarterback in Carson Palmer. When Palmer was given time to throw Sunday, the Cards offense flashed a lot of potential.
But if the Cards can't protect him in the pocket, Palmer will have a hard time being effective.
